Shikshkarni School began academic operations in March 2001 under V. VENKATAGIRI EDUCATION TRUST®, with its campus located in a healthy environment and an expanse of serene natural aesthetic settings that caters to all the needs of pupils. The school offers both CBSE and State syllabus options with well-aerated, clean, and modern classrooms.

Our Founder
He was a person of honour and integrity, an upholder of values, a strict disciplinarian, and an able administrator who set high goals for the future of Shikshkarni. He saw that students grow up as leaders with values and principles, working diligently for the upbringing of the institution. He firmly believed that education is the ultimate tool to positively transform the world, and that dedication and perseverance are necessary for students to reach their goals.

Shikshkarni Central School, owned & managed by V. Venkatagiri Education Trust, is one of the fast-developing schools in Mysore, imparting quality education at an affordable cost. Our vision to “Educate, Enlighten & Empower” has been tested over the years and has proven successful, earned trust, and received broad appreciation across the community.
We live in a rapidly changing world that is vastly different from the environment we grew up in. Because technology and society evolve at an accelerated rate, educators must continuously reflect upon and modernize the system of education. We at Shikshkarni implement a balanced curriculum integrated with technology-based learning to ensure children are thoroughly prepared to face life’s future challenges. I am proud to walk in the footsteps of our founder president, the Late Sri. V. Venkatagiri, toward the growth and development of this institution.
